This measurement tells us how well the purification of gHe from the purifier. Therefore, that value should in principle be closed to the purity of a cylinder (see: Reference gHe purity sample from a gHe cylinder )


  1. Ensure V30, V35 are open (see the image below).

  2. Ensure V9a and V21a are open.


  3. Ensure SV03 is open.


  4. Navigate to either Liquefier A or Liqiefier B to ensure PT501 reads a pressure higher than 10 psig.


  5.  Open "SVSAMPLE" on the QT HMI.


  6. Open  "REGPM" and then open "NVPM" to have some gHe flow.

  7. Connect the portable purity meter's probe to this port on the QT HMI cabinet.

  8. Once the purity measurement is taken, then close the valves in the following order.
    NVPM > REGPM > SVSAMPLE

  9. Measure the purity, and take a picture of the reading, send it to the target-expert (or to the target-group), make a elog entry (with date, time, location, and purity).
