1. Initial status
Microwave VI will look like as in the image below
- There are two red warnings in the warning section
The microwave power supply is in the "Standby" (Off) mode
2. Turning on the microwave system
- Press the "Press" button on the microwave power supply to start the high-voltage transmission. The mode will be changed to STANDBY → TRANSMIT
- Press the "Run the recovery sequence" button on the microwave VI. The "Motor Running" led will turn on. The motor position will be advanced.
- You will see EIO temperatures are going up. Especially the red graph (Waveguid) will increase at a higher rate.
- Once the EIO waveguide temperature goes over 35 oC, the "EIO low temperature.." warning will be cleared.
- Sometimes "Lost EIP signal" warning will be cleared. (this is not essential)
- Turn on "Warning sound" button
- Once the motor stops, The recovery sequence will be completed.
- You will see EIO temperatures are going up. Especially the red graph (Waveguid) will increase at a higher rate.
- Now the system is ready to polarize
3. Moving to the polarization phase
- Press the "Start Auto control" button to maximize the polarization. No need to change any other parameters.
4. Recover from Errors
You will hear a warning sound when the EIO waveguide temperature goes below 35 oC.
- Check the microwave power supply for errors. If power supply is in the Error state, Press the, transmit/standby button two times around one-second intervals. It will clear the warning and start the microwave transmission.
- The EIO Waveguied temperature should go up. If not, Press the "Run the recovery sequence" button on the microwave VI and follow the recovery sequence
