1. Initial status 

Microwave VI will look like as in the image below  

  • There are two red warnings in the warning section















The microwave power supply is in the "Standby" (Off) mode

 

2. Turning on the microwave system

  • Press the "Press" button on the microwave power supply to start the high-voltage transmission. The mode will be changed to STANDBY → TRANSMIT 















  • Press the "Run the recovery sequence" button on the microwave VI.  The "Motor Running" led will turn on. The motor position will be advanced. 










    • You will see EIO temperatures are going up. Especially the red graph (Waveguid) will increase at a higher rate. 
    • Once the EIO waveguide temperature goes over 35 oC, the "EIO low temperature.." warning will be cleared.
    •  Sometimes "Lost EIP signal" warning will be cleared. (this is not essential)
    • Turn on "Warning sound" button 


    • Once the motor stops, The recovery sequence will be completed. 
  • Now the system is ready to polarize 

3. Moving to the polarization phase

  • Press the "Start Auto control" button to maximize the polarization. No need to change any other parameters.

4. Recover from Errors


You will hear a warning sound when the EIO waveguide temperature goes below 35 oC. 

  • Check the microwave power supply for errors. If power supply is in the Error state, Press the, transmit/standby button two times around one-second intervals. It will clear the warning and start the microwave transmission.
  • The EIO Waveguied temperature should go up. If not, Press the "Run the recovery sequence" button on the microwave VI and follow the recovery sequence
