      Would it be possible to add a warning validation for specific roles that are added to the grid? Let me give you examples.
      1. I’ve added Financial Reporting Viewer to the grid – Warning: “You have selected Financial Reporting Viewer, which also needs the role of Tax ID Masking”
      2. I’ve added Student Hiring Support to the grid - Warning: “You have selected Student Hiring Support, which also needs the role of HR Analyst Limited Viewer Access”

      We have a few roles that are paired with other role assignments, so having the warning when requesting would be helpful. We have built reports, though these slip through the cracks on occasion. I wish rule-based security would accommodate this, but it doesn’t at this time.

      This feature is to enable workers to be able to request roles for an unfilled position.


      The current app is not able to do this:

      1) Worker field on the Security Request object is currently blank for unfilled positions, which stops the business process when it needs contextual security (ie Manager approval)

      2) Position field on the Security Request object doesn't allow for unfilled positions because the Workday ID of an unfilled position resolves to a "Position Restriction", not a "Position".


      Possible solution:

      1) Use the initiator for the worker on the Security Request

      2) Add a new field on the Security Request object for open position (likely a text field, since "position restriction" isn't an option for single reference target at the time of this writing)

      Unfortunately, this issue didn't come up until after our meeting yesterday.  When an approver sends the SIS request back to the user, the comments that they enter in the pop-up box are not being included in the email notification.  For example, if a Data Steward needs more information and wants to send the SIS request back to the user, the comments that they enter about why are not visible to the user unless they scroll down into the process history. 

      If possible, we'd like to include the send back comments in the notification email, so that if a SIS request is sent back to the user, they understand why and what they have to do.

      We have a user who has requested 6 SIS roles in one form, but the roles have not been added to the user.  The user is Bryana Amador (ba3vw).  All of the approvals were done by 9:53am on 4/25/2022, so the roles should have been added when the Boomi process ran at 10am on 4/25/2022.  BUT, the roles were not added and we are trying to figure out what happened.

      Sri has contacted Litao and Bo, and was told by Litao that:

      “On Monday 4/25 there was a Workday outage with Orchestrations from BP’s. It should be back online now”


      I need to know how we get this user her roles added.  She had a change to her position that removed all her roles, and she has had issues with getting the roles she needs put back on.  She has not had the access she needs to do her job for a few weeks now.  We really need to get this resolved!

      1. Some MBUs do not have a Sr. Finance Departmental Approver - so the FIN teams need to assign one to work for RBA. (Sue Clements is our contact for identifying this)
    2. Create the 57 role-based unconstrained user groups (maintaining 1 role - but it is assigned to multiple security groups - testing needed to confirm)
      1. We will have 57 new roles with an RBA approver and backup for each.  Will start with current MBU approvers where exists.
    3. Cost Center & CC Hierarchy name - look up Level 4 MBU.  Build a condition rule for 'RS-'
    4. Will we need a boomerang integration to keep it populated?

      1. Stability of MBUs and volatility of Cost Centers
