All Cases is the next tab on the Main Menu directly under Dashboard. This page allows you to view every case that you have access to, per your User Permissions in the system. Cases that you do not have access to will not be displayed.

Filter Cases

To find a specific case, or a group of cases with commonalities, you can use the filter options at the top of the page.

Case #

Cases can be searched by its specific case number in the format ##-#### (Year - the sequential number the case was assigned)

Involved Party

Typing a name here will bring up a list of all the cases that name is associated with as an involved party member

Case Type(s)

A drop-down list of case types will appear here to narrow a search to a specific case type

Case Classifications

A drop-down list of case classifications will appear here to narrow a search to a specific case classification

Team Member

Team members must be an active SafeGrounds user employee. Type at least three characters into the box and a list of names will appear and will continue to change the more characters you type. A name or UVA ID can be typed into the box. The name must be clicked to be entered.

Reported on Start

Entering a date into Reported on Start will filter all the cases that were reported on that date and thereafter.

Reported on End

Entering a date into Reported on End will filter all the cases that were reported before that date. These two filters are usually used together to find all cases that were reported between the range of dates entered.

Status

Select the status of the case(s) you are looking for; active, closed, in progress, monitoring

Phase

Select a phase from the drop-down list of options
