Configuration 1: When we are not running Microwave.

In the current situation, we are not running the microwave for sustainable polarization. We fill the fridge at Heat-Ex Top (Ohm) in the morning and evening and leave it there to boil off the next day.

For this configuration,

  1. Run, and Bypass valve closed
  2. GV Bypass Opening set at 8% or 8.5%.
  3. We must monitor the Target Material temperature to prevent it from exceeding 60K.

Watch the temperature of the target cups on Stipr Charts. The target parameters are Insert# 7 and Insert#8, and the Target parameters are Annealing A and Annealing B. Please use the following strip chart to watch the Target Parameters:

In the above picture, Insert #7 and Insert # 8 are shown in resistance. Their corresponding values are in the following column. You can see their closer value and their corresponding temperature.

What if the Target Parameters start increasing:

If the target parameters start increasing, crack open the Run valve at 0.55 or 0.65 turns to get the liquid into the fridge nose to keep the target material cool. Please see below, how to open the Run valve:

In the above picture, click on point 1, Fridge Valve, to open the VI to change the readout mode.

Insert manually the number of turns that you want to open the Run valve and press Enter.

When the temperature drops from Insert# 7 and Insert#8, and the Target parameters are Annealing A and Annealing B, close the Run valve by manually inserting 0 and press Enter.

What if the Target Parameters Fridge/1000 (Torr) start increasing:

Normally, we set the GV bypass opening at 8% to reduce the consumption of Liquid Helium. I1
