To upload or edit media and transcripts, you must first login to Mediabase. Currently, we are using UVA NetBadge to authenticate logins to the system, so you will have to already have a NetBadge ID to be able to login. Also, before you login, you must write to the Mediabase administrator, Travis McCauley, to have a user account created for you. Write to twm4g@virginia.edu and provide your UVA Computing ID if you have it, or, if not, your desired username. Travis will then email you to let you know you have been added to the system and you can proceed to login.
To login, click on the “UVA Login” link at the top right-hand side of the Mediabase screen. You will then be redirected to a UVA NetBadge login screen where you can either enter your UVA NetBadge credentials where indicated or your non-UVA login credentials under “Other Users”.(ask about this; will it always be the case that a SHANTI administrator has to make an account for the user? Or will this be available through Collab?)
