The Indicators on the VI 

  • The vertical blue and red bars show the current location of the lifter. The LEDs will turn red when the lifter reaches the specific location as labeled.
  • The graph shows the same information
  • In the Status pallet 
    • Moving status :
      • green- when it runs smoothly
      • red - when there is a mismatch between the Pot Distance and Step Distance greater than 2mm . But when the lifter is running this will get red sometimes . But when it is not running it should be green. 
    • Motor running: this will light up when the lifter is moving 
    • Main Loop running: This will blink when the control vi is running without any issue
    • Status bar : 
      • Moving : when the lifter is moving
      • Ready : when it is not moving and ready to move.

Moving the lifter to a desired location 

  1. Select the desired location from the radio button under the Position Controls pallet. Then Press the Move button. Image Added
  2. When the lifter is moving The position indicator graphs will be updated. The move button will be disabled while it is moving. The status bar will be changed to Ready → Moving 
  3. Press "STOP" button to stop the lifter if needed.
  4. When the lifter reaches the destination position, it will stop, and the move button will be enabled.
