Loading the Insert (All target members at Counting House should help organize when this is an ammonia loading job)

Check that each NMR coil is able to see the crystal signal. Check the each Cernox is work in LN2. Make sure each Q-meter is working and each Lambda/2 cable is connected well and you have seen a crystal signal with each prior to target insert installation. Make sure microwave have been tested and all is ready. |
2 | NM4 Target Loading Area | Any Target Team member | Stage the Target Loading: Fill the target loading tub with LN2 at least 30 minutes ahead. It will take 5 trips. This should be done before calling the RSO, IH, ES&H or anyone else that is coming out to watch. At this time check that the tools that are needed are laid out on the table, that the microwave and NMR tools are in the little plastic bag on the insert rack, that the insert handle is on the insert, that the screw driver for the lids is there. | |
