Turn-Off/On Procedure
Procedure for turning off and on the slow control rack, in case of planned/unplanned power outage.
Turning Off
- Make sure all programs about the slow controls (running on the target computer) are stopped.
- Record which devices are on (and off).
- Turn off all devices that have a mechanical power switch.
- This step might not be necessary since the power cords are unplugged in the next step and thus any surge current during a power outage recovery should not come in. We need discuss to decide.
- Unplug the two power cords of the slow control rack.
Turning On
- Plug the two power cords of the slow control rack.
- Turn on all devices that have a mechanical power switch.
- Activate TPG 361 by pressing the "up" button for 5 seconds, until the pressure reading of channel 1 is shown.
