NMR and VI:

Leader: Devin Seay

The NMR is used to measure the polarization of the target. Labview VI's controls the components and readouts of the NMR.

Resources: UVA-NMR System Manual

Tasks include:

  • Create a debugging setup.
  • Better Documentation.
  • Characterization of the Q-Meters.
  • German Q-Meter.

Microwave and Magnet:

The microwave system is a 140 GHZ EIO tube that drives the polarization through the DNP effect. The Magnet provides the alignment and contains the fridge, which provides the cooling power to the target.
