How to specify ‘My patients’
When you first specify population, you most often want to review only your patients – either patients for whom you are the primary care or for whom you provide specialist care. You can quickly limit those by using the “My Patients” feature.
Under the ‘My Patients’ option, you can choose one or more of your relationship to the patients you are interested in. Most commonly, we anticipate that you would want to inquire about your own patients. For our primary care practitioners, you can choose ‘PCP’ and/or ‘My Panel’. For our specialist colleagues, you may choose ‘Encounter Provider’. Other options are available but validations are recommended before use.
Similarly, you can specify ‘My Orders’ in a data model such as Outpatient Prescription. In this case, you can choose to limit your query to only the orders that you entered or orders from a specified clinic location.
