Locate the Magnifying glass icon

• Find it underneath the menu icon, at the top right of the page

Click on the Magnifying glass icon

• A drop-down menu will unfold from the right side of the page

Enter your search terms in the text box

Either: Filter results in your basic search:

• Descriptions: search for keywords only in the content's description

• Transcripts: search for keywords only in the content's transcript

And/Or: Filter results with the advanced search:

•  All Text: search all text in the Mediabase

• Name: search only the names of content

• Starts with:search content that starts with your keyword

• Exactly: Search for your exact keywords only

Click on the arrow to the right of the search text box

• A page will load with your search results

Locate the menu at the right of your search results

• It

  This menu will show the number of results found and give you

  options

  ways to sort your results 

Sort your results:

• Relevancy:sort results by their similarity to your keywords

• Title:sort results by their titles

• Type:sort results by their type of media (audio file, video, etc.)

• Author:sort results by author

• Date:sort results by most recent to least recent

• Duration: sort results by shortest to longest in duration
