You can search for subjects anywhere in Mandala by clicking the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner. You can also search through assets tagged with a subject.
Filters for Subjects
Related Subjects: returns results, including subjects, related to the subject selected here. You can select more than one related subject.
Detailed Instructions
- Go to mandala.shanti.virginia.edu/subjects
The Subjects homepage will open
- Click the search icon
- Find this button below the main menu This icon is a magnifying glass in the top right corner of the page
The "Search" window will expand
The "Results" tab will be selected automatically
- Begin typing Type a subject into name the "Search" field
A drop-down
menu of search filters will expand
- Choose the filters you want to use
- You can select as many options as you want from the "Show only results containing" and "Show only feature types" menus
- Click Enter
- Find this button to the right of the search field
A list of subjects that fit your search criteria will appear at the bottom of the window
- To view results in a hierarchy, click the Browse Subjects tab
- Note that you can browse subjects without entering a search query. Learn more at Browse Subjects.
- Click + to expand a search result
- Click - to collapse a search result
- To view results in a list, click the Results tab
- Use the scroll bar to browse results
list of subject names will unfold in the "Results" tab
- Use the arrow buttons as needed to view page results
- Click a subject name from the list
The node page for that subject will open
The Knowledge Maps Overview page will appear
