  1.  Ensure the magnet is in the "Persistent Mode" (if not follow the steps on the Magnet Power Supply Ramping Up - Down Procedure  page)
  2.  Confirm that the main and shim switch heaters are OFF.
  3.  Check the "Output Current (A)". If it is showing the same current as "Persistent Current (A)" then follow this step, if the "Output Current (A)" is different from the "Persistent Current (A)" then go to Step #4.

    Click the Toggle button shown in the above screenshot. Then the screen will show "SWITCH HEATER CHANGING STATE, PLEASE WAIT" (see the following screenshot).

    Once that's completed then it will look like the following.

  4. Ramp-up the switch heater leads to the current shown on  "Persistent Current (A)" (usually it will be 74.47 A)
  5. Click the Hold button and wait for 3 seconds.
  6. Ensure the "Persistent Current (A)" and the "Output Current (A)" are equal.
  7. Then the screen will show "SWITCH HEATER CHANGING STATE, PLEASE WAIT" (see the following screenshot).


    Once that's completed then it will look like the following.
