Notes:

  • This column forms the area for the first stream color
  • The label on this column should be the name for the stream area

Area colors

formats the colors that will appear in each section of the stream

  • Click the colored square to choose colors
  • Learn more about choosing colors
  • Each tab represents a different section in the stream
Area style

styles the areas in the graph

  • Stream: the graph will have white space above and below it
  • Stacked: the graph will start from the baseline and have white space above it
  • Full: the graph won't have white space
Area shape

formats the appearance of the areas

  • Curved: the lines will have no sharp edges
  • Flat: the lines will have straight edges
  • Stepped: the lines will be composed of small steps
Date format

sets how the dates will be displayed in the graph

  • Choose a date format from the drop-down menu
  • This date shows up when you hover over the area graph
