Turning ON

Simply connect the power adapter to a power outlet. It will take a couple of minutes to be ready for a measurement (watch the screen).


Setting the primary and secondary gas types


  1. Press "SETUP" button on the right-hand panel.
  2. Press "SELECT GASES"
  3. Press "SELECT PRIMARY" or "SELECT SECONDARY" depending on what you want to change/modify.
  4. Enter the type of gas using this keypad, and press "ENT". A list will appear (see the next screen).
  5. Select the gas-type from the list (in this example "N2" was selected).
  6. The screen will display the "Home" screen.



Taking a measurement

  1. Bleed the plastic tube before connecting it to the purity meter.
  2. Adjust the gas flow in the plastic tube to be low, before connecting it to the purity meter.
  3. Ensure the purity meter is ON and PRIMARY and SECONDRY gas-types are properly selected (if not, see above).
  4. Connect the plastic tube to the purity meter inlet while a low flow of gas in present.
