Spreadsheet Format

Each row represents a data point on the area chart. The chart below shows what data should be included in each column. Learn more about using spreadsheets with Visuals at Use Spreadsheet Data.

The x-axis value for your data point. This makes your chart discrete (plain text) or continuous (number, date, time, or datetime).

The value for your point on the y-axis. This creates your first line of data.

A different value for your point on the y-axis. This creates a second line of data.

Note:

  • You can have as many additional columns of data as you need. Each column creates a data line.
