Preliminary Settings
1.Turn on router and switch (Turn on monitor)
2.Turn on RF generator (or power cycle it.)
The RF generator should be set to: (see pic)
3.Boot Intel nuc computer (see picture) and login (as Pat, Astrid or Misha for the login).
Before turning on the VME crate:
Start NIMAX
→ click devices and interfaces,
→ click on scan for instruments
→ Click on GP1B-USB…
→ click on bottom tab right (Properties)
→ should see in the identification area: SMT02(3) at gpib address 28 -> GPIB adapter
and R+S are working
