  1. Turn ON all the cold head compressors manually (there are 10 of them: two rows: A & B)
  2. Plug the two power cables for HR3 back to the power outlet which is located nearby (back of the HR3 compressor rack).
  3. Open the QT HMI cupboard and turn ON the main breakers.
  4. You will see the system startup on the HMI screen.
Then, open the cupboard again and check the PLC computer screen (the small one located top left corner of the cupboard).
If it shows this "STOP" sign (left image below), then navigate to the "settings" (using the arrow buttons below the screen), and go to the "RUN/STOP", press OK for RUN.

Then the system will be restored.
Check the LCW supply to the system before starting Liquefying or in IDLE mode to run the cold head compressors.
Check the QT System Starting Procedure for the steps to Start the system back to liquefy mode

    Specifically, check the following configurations

Make sure the outside gHe tanks are above ~30psi.

Check LCW Temperatures on the meters right next to the staircase and also via the following link.

Make sure the purifier Dewar LN2 space is between 70%-90% (see LN2 fill procedure)
    and VNVA is opened.

Open V9a and V21a on Purifier screen on the PLC: This is because the purifier is currently operating in "Manual" mode when the entire system is on "Auto"

  5.  In the control room, turn ON the QT computer/terminal (see the image below). PW=LN
  6. On that computer, start the "SmarClient" and then proceed to the next screens (with entering the admin password) as shown in the following screens.

Rebooting the QT-HMI

On December 18, 2023, we started to refill the purifier around 17:18, the QT-HMI freezes. We closed the session and the session was closed itself. We tried to login using the "Sm@rtClient", it established the connection but after few seconds the connection timed out. Please see the error below:

We opened the QT-HMI cupboard and plug-out and plug-in the green power cable to the QT-HMI screen. It helped us to reboot only the QT-HMI.

After doing the above step, login through the "Sm@rtClient".
