Image Removed How to Export Data out of SlicerDicer
You have finally finished a SlicerDicer Report that has the data that you need. You now need to analyze this data with a different analytical tool such as Excel. Or you may want to have this list of patients for MyChart communication. SlicerDicer allow you to do both tasks.

To export data to Excel, you simply right click on the collapsed row/bar in detailed view (under Visual Options).

Select the option named 'Export Visits to Excel'. That would bring up the next screen as shown below.

This requires that you create a password that will secure this data that you are exporting outside of EPIC Hyperspace. This Excel file will automatically be saved to your F: Drive – which is HIPPA secure and is routinely backed up. You can rename your file in this dialog box (below)

To export data from SlicerDicer to Reporting Workbench, you can simply right-click on the bar (as in the bar graph) that represents the data that you want to export.
